Artists Public Domain's Production Program funds and produces films by emerging independent filmmakers who possess unique artistic merit.  The program focuses on new filmmakers with a distinct point of view, a clear artistic vision, and a keen ability to communicate their ideas.  Artistic freedom remains top priority as we guide the filmmaker through the production process from development through release.

Shorts for Shorts’ Sake is APD's documentary short program. Much like our production program, we provide the filmmaker with funds and guidance, overseeing the entire filmmaking process from pre- through post-production. The program is APD’s commitment to the craft of the short documentary film and our belief that the medium is an effective platform for both entertainment and education.
